Are capacitors worth it.

caps steal power that should go your amp. and a legacy amp doesnt need much power. instead of buying any caps get a new amp

I am looking to install 6 .5 farad capacitors today or tommorrow and i don't know if its worth it. I am running 2 alpine type r's with a 2400 watt amp. Can anyone tell me if it is worth my time to do this.
An HC-800 is like 200 caps or something like that. Just get one of those. Why are you scared of doing a yellowtop or a Kinetik or something?

its nowhere near 2400 watts, pyramid/legacy/pyle amps are very overrated on power. honestly its around 300-400 constant watts, which should be fine on stock electrcal. whats the fuse rated at? my friends said 2000w on a 40 amp fuse. it was nowhere as loud as his 600w rockford amp. Look at RMS not Peak. Try hifonics for a poweful cheap amp. the 1606 brutus would be perfect because its really closer to 1300rms. those pyramid/pyle/legacy amps are cheap for a reason.

i had a pioneer deh80mp before that and i wanted to get rid of my external monitor. t works great for what i need it for. name a better flip out for 150bnib? what you running on your huffy bmx bike? i would never use dual subs or amps, but i have no complaints on this head unit. made my subs louder, believe it or not

and unless caps are free there not worth it. dont listen to the bmx guy. No sig, no pics, no system info, and you like caps? He sounds like the noob
