Are alpine amps noisy?

I been looking into alpine pdr-m65 I really like a lot about it. My concern is when I did a search I found people posting the pdx line has known noise issues. I use to have a mrx-2400 and never had issues with it. I know the pdr is suppose to be similar to pdx so just curious if anyone recently had pdx or pdr experience? The last date I found when I searched was from 5 years ago.

I've not run into any noise issues and in fact I can't tell the difference from a PDX and a Class AB amp. I don't know about PDR though.

PDX was known to have noise issues around 10 years ago when they came out. I'm quite certain that was sorted out in later revisions.

this, the first models were the only one who had trouble. thats why i avoid the older model pdx.

never heard of noise from any other alpine

Just got the alpine pdr-m65 sounds great very powerful guess the birth sheet is actually legit here is some pics..............

once question I swear I read it had balanced inputs and it doesnt. I did some research and found out my stock radio in 14 civic has pre amp line level outputs, does that mean I should get a different amp like a jl audio with balanced inputs? not sure how important that is or how much of a difference it makes?
