AQhdc318 + AQ2200 in my 01 Jeep Grand Cherokee

please get a new battery or alternator or both. 2000+ watts is bad news bears for a stock electrical.
I have 1400 watts total between my sub (1200) and my components (200). I have a Kinetik 1400 battery in the trunk, all of my wire is 1/0 and i still get dimming. (most likely because my battery under the hood is corroded and old as hell, i plan on getting a new one soon)

But seriously, if i'm having this issue with that many watts, you will have even more.
Im running 2500 watts on stock electrical, and I dont drop below 13v's ever...

Nothing upgraded.

Good for you. Glad it wasn't anything major.

about clipping...for the record, I've been clipping these MJ's daily for over a month now, no issues, no burning smell, and at the clipped volume they're getting around 1800+ watts, when they aren't really made to handle more than 800 a piece. With the subs facing the trunk, the clipping is inaudible, so its just louder (very much noticeably) than if it was unclipped

clipping isn't a problem if you know what you're doing...the only inherent issues are when its audible (which means it sounds like crap...) or when its enough power to begin with that you start overheating your subs coils, or damaging your amp

hey guys i just got done taking 2 vids but can anyone please explain what it means when your sub bottoms out????

because my sub just started making a wierd noise outa no where like about a week after i lowered my subsonic filter----guessing about to 20hz.

IT DOESNT ALWAYS MAKE THE NOISE---only on low frequencies guessing about 25-30hz

ex. put me in the freezer

does this mean i got my subsonic filter to high or to low???
