I'm reconing my aq . I wanted to know whats the best product I can get a local hardware store to remove the majority of the foam on the basket . I've already cut it and i'm sure i'll have to use my dremel to finish it off but was looking for an easy way to get most of the crap off.

aircraft paint remover gel works wonders...eats thru everything...just dont get it on ur hands...it burns like hell

i use a 3" disk with 60grit powered by a cordless drill. it is good to rough it up a lil so the glue has something to stick to...

I use a wire wheel on the end of a drill, hammer chizel helps to lol

1" wide wood chisel and use it upside down to avoid gouging the basket. Tap with a hammer and work your way around. Factory glue job comes off VERY easily. Then dremel or whatever to get it down to bare metal, same with the spider landing.
