Ap30001d

for everyone sayin not 1 ohm stable. its 1 ohm each channel not mono. dj has his wired to 1 ohm each channel so its not bridged at 1 ohm so its not impedence problems
Oh i thought it was a 1 ohm load total not 2 1 ohm loads. Not sure then but with that electrical you should not have problems with that

Yeah same here..my voltage doesnt really drop but it will go to protect on heavy bass hits on 1 ohm. my volt meter reads high 13's to low 14s when im driving and it will still go to protect at 1 ohm.
Well aint that crazy here. Your voltage stays high while driving and it still goes into protect at 1 ohm bridged. Well call me crazy, but I think some one said its not ment to run at 1ohm bridged. I wounder how long that protect is going to last. O and before your buddy says thats what the protect is there for. The protect circut is there for running the amp at factory settings aka running it at 2 ohms bridged not 1 ohm below its factory setting.

So high 13's to low 14's and still goes into protect. What have we learned here. Even with good electrical it still doesnt like 1 ohm bridged. Got it, get it now.

The amp is 1ohm stable and i have my subs wired exactly how the pic shows 1ohm each side.

And if I was you. Id break out the DMM. check that voltage your self. At the amp and at the battery. Next check what your ohm load is really set at. Each channel is at 1ohm nothin below that. Also check that ground as well.

Pack that baby up and send it back to AP. somthin is off on it. Only other things I would think of is. Mabye RCA cable what kind do you have. Cheap or did you spend the money on a good set. Another thing is your clipping that amp and sending it into protect. What do you have the setting like on the HU. Is that a five volt RCA output. How many volts is the RCA's on the Amp recommended for.

Also did you take the subs fully out and check the ohms on them. Possible a coil is bad and is taking the amp out. Seen it plenty with four channel amps a speaker is going takes the amp out.

Did you email AP and tell them all about it. What is the warrenty looking like. Still under or is it out of warrenty. If So look up DB-r on here I think he's been wanting check one of these out, Ask him for a price on a repair or look over.

lol, sorry i had to now you wonder why ur paying lower than dealer prices for these amps, they are referbs! audiopipe wont help you with warrenty eather when you bought from a internet seller you have to deal with there warrenty not ap's.

i run a 30001 @1ohm bridged DAILY with 1 extra battery in the trunk. i have rolled the vol at lower impedences BRIDGED. i dont recomend it. i have yet to have a single problem with any audiopipe amp, and i have installed alot of them.

it payes to buy authorised in the long run...

So the listings on Ebay are refurbs. Not new. Lol now thats funny. Also you say you run it at 1 ohm bridged what batts are you using and ALt if you dont mind me asking. And you say you have ran it lower then 1 bridged as well but with rolling volume until I assume you have played with it until it cuts out.

Also you deal with AP. what is the 3500D's like. Post im my thread.

i have kicked the living crap out of of AP amps...subs...way more than any kind man should....no probs at all run the 1500 at .5 ohm no prob....but i am a ath dealer...and dont ever tell anyone to get any brand off ebay lol even some one i dont like.....17 years in 12v and ap has the best bank for the buck i have ever come across! i can get brand "x" off ebay and tell every 1 its junk...thats not a fair deal to any brand ebay is evil
