If it includes all the older gear, does not include entry level gear, has unbiased reviews from experienced car audio enthusiests and is moderated to weed out any potential BS that may get posted...then I think we might be on to a good thing.

i think like a group of people should do it, learn how the database works, and moderate it. this will be too much for 1 person.

i believe some entry level gear should be let in (DD, RE, SS, etc.)

the rating system will be discussed later i guess. right now, we need the need to focus on the bare bones.

i also have a friend with cataloges dating back to the mid 1990's

i have basically every crutchfield mag from the past 4-5 years i think, and a few mmats catalogs and stuff along that lines

each of the people modding this can have an email or something and anybody can send to any of the emails (the email will need a certain format) and we can post the information as we get the emails.

Entry level gear from respected companies...yeah, but companies that specialize in entry level gear like Crunch, Sony and Boss (as mentioned) should be left out.

If this is really going to happen, I can provide alot of good pics of old PG, old MBQ, some Audio Control, alot of streetwires, some Kinetik batteries, some Subzero boxes, Raamat mass loader, some CDT, some Image Dynamics, a few old high end Alpine HUs and more.

I can also provide ALOT of detailed reviews.

Before I get too involved, I need to express some honest thoughts: It seems like every time someone comes up with an Idea that requires much time and effort from several people, it never pans out. At first everyone is all excited....but once the excitement wears off nobody cares, everyone moves on and the idea goes away.

So I ask you all...How serious are we about this? Will this pan out?

I am not trying to be a spoil sport, but I need to know before I put any time or thought into this beyond simple posts.
