Anyone wanna help (Database)

i think it would be cool if a group of us puts together a database of audio equipment with pix and specs and share it with everyone else.

i dunno if this has been tried before, but i think it might be a fun little project

I don't know about everyone else, but when I want to see pictures and specifications I look at the manufacturers web site. It's quick, easy, and tells me what I want to know plus it gives me contact information.

If your idea would be better in any way to my above mentioned method of gathering information about a product, please explain. If you can convince me, count me in.

ya its like you said, we can gather the info from the sites, but being a database, we can sort by brand, type of equipment etc so people can compare different equipment from different brands.
