Anyone wanna help (Database)

I don't know about everyone else, but when I want to see pictures and specifications I look at the manufacturers web site. It's quick, easy, and tells me what I want to know plus it gives me contact information.
If your idea would be better in any way to my above mentioned method of gathering information about a product, please explain. If you can convince me, count me in.

Not all manufactureres keep the data from the previous year, let alone a couple years before...

Isn't that what the entire forum serves as?

i know its gonna be big, but we can take the equipment as they come.

sometimes i have a hard time finding info on certain subs or amps or watever, and i think this database would be cool, like i said, to search a part number or brand and it will be right there.

edit: also we can sort by power range, subwoofer size, etc. although sorting by the t/s would be kinda tough hehe

yea that would be awesome, and have a rating system where people could rate the products and sh*t i would try to help out the best i can....but i dont know much about puters lol

but i'd love to see one of these things....who would do it? whos qualified....i could supply information ( only thing i could do)

If I ran the database I would sugguest omitting brands like Boss... that way you keep all the morons who buy that kind of gear away, and thus don't have to deal with their inaccurate feedback.

I don't know how we would set this up, but I can provide info and pics. Sounds like all we need to find is someone good with computers.

NEVAR!!! he is forever frosty.

all of us can do it. we can all have access to the database, and whoever sends us info, we can input it. no qualifications needed.

im sure someone can supply us webspace and/or help teach how to run a database or something.

yeah i agree with that...no roadgear, boss, legacy, n stuff like that....i may know a guy that could help out with this....but im not sure if he'll devote his time to it.
