I agree wholeheartedly.
The current impression I personally get is that this is basically going to be a review database with pics, and that the website itself is just going to be a way of quickly getting to that info.
I feel we should keep the front end as simple as possible while we're at it. Very few images (if any), a global CSS file, and no [complicated] tables. Just a horizontal rule here or there, and maybe sans-serif font or logo image where it's needed. If a lot of people are working on this, the last thing we need is a barrysworld style website to have to maintain in the meanwhile.
