Anyone tried ports on the side?

Ahh, it would do the same score with 1 amp. I just ran two amps for fusing efficiency Plus, my box was piss poor, it had no port area.

There was one on the bottom, and then another toward the front of the car more, touching I believe.

And OP: As stated many times in this thread, people get different results with facing the port different ways. Most of the time, if you're getting metered, port toward driver side will pressurize the passenger side more (I believe.) But, if you're just listening to it, port passenger side will make it louder in the driver's seat. This is regularly based on other people's statements. I've never tried it.

That is correct. Two amps total.

ive tried sub back port side and sub forward port side. sub forward (in an accord) was much much better for daily. but i ended up with a sub back port back for daily and it was lots louder //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

Subs forward ports to the side works well in trunk cars.

and sometimes subs up does well too.

side ports also work well in trucks & SUVs.

thanks for the response guys..those are some interesting installs..I have it going in a 1.3 cu ft sealed box first..most likely will try it out in a ported within the next 2 weeks. Its going to be a DD, so no need to break records. I rather keep the ports inside the box for cosmetic reasons. I might just go with fisher customs since he has access to trupan.

Ports to the side can work decently in SUV's, but in my experience ports back usually works better. Out of the two Explorer's, one Blazer, and Jeep Cherokee the only one that was loudest with ports to the side was the Cherokee.
