Anyone see a problem with me getting this computer?

meh I think its just people jumping on the I hate Vista band wagon.......
Before you condemn me, just check out the resources btwn the 2 OS. It's just Bill's way of diving a little further into your hard drive. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Oh I got cha man... but alot of people are like " Oh Vista is Sooooo ghey" but have nothing to really back that claim up. I am glad that you actually know what your talking about. I use Vista on my home computer for nothing other then a internet and gaming so it's fine and I have no complaints.

My gf's computer has vista and hasn't had any problems in the year she has owned it. It is also an Acer brand, although it is a laptop. I like Vista but it seems slower than my computer with similar specs to mine running xp.

Yehh that was the plan....but than i seen this all ready to go
It prolly more than ill ever use, but i need a new one asap
If you have a decent case & power supply, just build it yourself. If you need to buy everything, I mean case, power supply, keyboard, os. The pc you link might be cheaper.

That's why I like to build my own, I have a nice Antec case & kick arse power supply, so when I upgrade all I have to buy is a mother board, memory & processor.

Acer = Fail

You can build the same....if not better for less.

EDIT : Just priced all the components for the same specs on newegg......$1108.84. That's for everything....internals, Antec case, Antec PS, OS.

Been building, selling, repairing PC's professionally for over 15 years. You will never get the same performance out of that Acer that you would get out of a custom built PC.

anything for newegg is generally good..but jsut read the reviews..i find them helpful..cept id never buy a full built comp..i like to build my own..and feel customized //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Uh, I can back my shit up. He's right. Vista has a component that literally keeps applications and processes that you have used SLIGHTLY open in the background for "quicker" load times when you want to use them again. Can you imagine everything you use all at once being SLIGTHLY opened in the depths of your computer? MAJOR ram overhaul. If you use Vista, do NOT have less than three gb or ram, two is cuttin it way too close
