Anyone know home security

FIrst of all, I had always assumed these were cameras but never said anything. I mentioned what I thought were cameras when talking to the person who actually brought up some other discussion about hidden cameras (elsewhere). If the person was honest and said yeah they are cameras, I wouldn't care. But it is obvious, assuming they are, that they are being used to basically monitor me. I have done nothing to provoke this. This person has done a lot of crazy **** too me. 51/50 crazy. I am the only person that these cameras would logically be used to monitor. CPI has tons of info about streaming video on their website. This person doesn't give two ***** about locking the doors, locking the driveway gate (driveway is LONG and no one else is around), or investing in a cheap cctv system I reccomended for outside.
I am not going through all this trouble to figure out if they are cameras or not. I am trying to get some solid evidence and call out the lie. This person does this crazy **** then denies ever doing it and tells the whole family i'm paranoid. It's ridiculous. This thread could get quite entertaining if you guys help me out.

It is made by centry and the person I questioned about it said it is not a camera and is a glass break sensor that cpi installed. That is after changing the story around slightly, initially it was some sort of laser that detects movement when you cross a beam even at a angle far off from where the eye is pointed. The person claims implied it will detect windows breaking at say 60 degrees in each direction from where the eye is pointed, some windows were a solid 90 degrees to the side. The distance to the window often being over 20 feet. The story just works because these what I think are cameras are mounted in the optimal positions to cover the house. Which is basically nothing but windows.

It looks like a camera to me. There are 8 of them downstairs mounted horizontally about 8 feet high (the maximum number of cameras for the best business video surveillance service that cpi offers). They are mounted high and are positioned for optimal view over the downstairs.

If y'all don't know maybe you could help me figure out what to say when contacting cpi and sentry through their website? I don't want to be too blunt with my questions, I figure it would be better to keep it vague and try to get some info out of them before getting specific or sounding like I want to learn how their security systems work.

Don't camera lenses give out IR light or something? Would a night vision camcorder show anything or is there a way to test if it is an actual lense? There are no markings to identify it other than sentry.

Hopefully it is just a "glass break sensor" but I smelled nothing but utter bullshit. The system was installed by CPI roughly 3 years ago. It's possible it's been 5 years but it is deffinately not older than that.

There is already a visible camera mounted outside that is completely wireless. Not to mention the android i-pad thing that was purchased the week I moved in and is always being charged but never getting used. Literally.

I'm thinking it's this type of setup with some cameras that are meant to be discrete.

I'm busy getting to the bottom of this but I will keep it updated and give more info upon request.

The glass break sensors on the cpi site look nothing like this. Nor do any of the other 20 gadgets they have including the home monitor cameras.

If anyone uses sentry it would be AWESOME if you could get me some member only product info

Alarm System | Vista - North Bethesda | Sentry Installation

The first two hits for security systems in the nearest large city is sentry followed by cpi, both of whom boast their (video) surveillance technology,

This person is rich as fvck and fvcked in the head, money is not an issue. This thread could turn out quite entertaining knowing the person I am dealing with.
thats a camera

Just stand on a chair and look right into the thing man....if theres a lens its a camera...period. The whole laser this is BS.....Just to prove him wrong get a camcorder that has night vision. Turn it on and point it at that thing. It the display brightens right up then its a IR laser (guarantee its not though) The led could turn on when its active or when its on battery backup or something.
