Seriously, people that flag posts for no reason at all blow. I feel like it almost happens on a weekly basis for me. Makes trying to sell stuff 100000x harder.

I use it to advertise local box building which is my only source of income, so I get pretty ticked when it gets flagged...

I can't imagine a whole lotta box builder competing for business in Maine. But that would make sense in a more populous area.

I can't tell you how much of my stuff would get flagged and I would see the same thing for sale at a higher price than I was selling mine at!

Craigslist is a good place to sell stuff at a higher price than what you would normally get for it (usually what I do) but its also a good place to find quality stuff people just want to get rid of ---> one man's trash...

Just keep posting your ad as soon as you see its been flagged - I even left a message at the top of my descriptions thanking whoever is flagging my ad because they're keeping me at the top //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rotflol.gif.b453361716769b8110ddefc85ff03cd2.gif!

The flagging system on craigslist is fucking terrible, it's completely automated and allows assholes to continually get your ads taken down just to avoid the competition.

There is a help forum where you can post your ad and they'll tell you whats wrong with it but the reasons are usually ridiculous.

Yeah people flag stuff for shits and gigs sometimes but if I had to gues some jack *** was probably flagging your add for being too "commercial" there is some rule about businesses not going on there and posting adds.

Personally the flagging system comes with its drawbacks but sometimes it for the better. I know on my local craigslist I saw an add saying "best car audio installs we do top work" So I had to click it in see. The add went on saying about doing the best work in toledo experienced users only haha So i took the number they posted up googled it and tons of pages came up about an appliance scam from the same number. after looking at the pictures of "their builds" i recognized a few from youtube.

SO i gues flagging that **** down and stopping people from getting scammed is a good point to it
