Well said, I started this with the intention of getting advice about his actions and figuring out a way to warn people from purchasing from this guy.

I'd say I succeeded in my attempts, if anything I know that I've prevented at least one person from purchasing from Ladd Murdock.

For all the chaos and insanity Kenny has had to endure by having entered into a business transaction with you I'd say you owe him 1400 clams for his time! But that's neither here nor there. Regardless of how great of a deal you made him that doesn't give you the right to 'even the pot' by snitching more money at a later time. As far as who would complain about a paltry $100 is concerned ~ every reasonable human being I know would complain about having someone steal from them. What you did was theft, Darren, make no mistake about it. You may rationalize it or attempt to excuse it in any manner you see fit. The bottom line is you committed fraud, plain and simple. if I was that desperate person who would try to steal your money and if your sales tax was so important, then their would be no benefit or point for me to take off $100 off your order when you called me on the phone?? Or could it just be that everything you have stated to everyone has been blown-up out of proportion and you have fabricated this whole story just like you did when you contacted the local police and ebay and everyone to get me suspended and my account revolked. remember?? Not only did I give you the highest quality Rims and Spinners valued at way over $2800, but you tried to bite the hand which fed you and didn't want to believe that you had to obey the same policy in the ebay auction which pertained to "all" wholesale Rims customers and to all transactions. The company rules and policies don't change just because you purchase them outside of ebay, our auction even clearly states "If you wish to complete this same transaction, you are free to call on the phone if you don't want to bid against others".

If this mysterious tax applies to all customers, bar none, then why did you continually refer to the wording in the eBay listing, which by itself has no bearing on an off-eBay sale?

You can probably find some "single layer chrome" cheap-*** flaking, chrome chipping rims for the same price range, but nothing can match the price you recieved for the highest quality.

I know next to nothing about that particular genre of aftermarket wheels so I'll let this go and assume it to be true.
