Alright guys, resurrecting this topic because it's not overI'll post the last few emails between us. Ladd sent me this out of the blue because I guess my website has been effecting his sales, and I guess eBay is taking care of this clown...
Kenny, This is Ladd Murdock. I just wanted to send you an email and personally apologize for anything which I have done or said to you or your family which has offended you. I also know it wasn't right for my buddy to post that information on ebay, but please understand it was only done out of retaliation after we realized you posted my personal information and rude things about our company which offended me. The only reason I contacted the local authorities is because you had different people contacting my company who were harassing me and my company saying threatening things. I know you felt strongly about not paying a sales tax for your order, but please understand I have received "2 different stories" from people here in Utah. One person has stated that if my company claims all of our orders and sales to the government and we claim a certain itemized line on our taxes, that we should also charge a sales tax on these orders which we are paying the state for. Another person told me that it wasn't necessary to charge a sales tax to outside residents, and only to inside residents. I also had a gentlemen contact me the other day stating that Utah has been pushing for an internet tax law to go through, and soon we will be required "by law" to charge taxes on all orders, no choice either way. I feel that we were probably given some early inaccurate information about taxes from the person from the state who misinformed us about how we needed to charge a sales tax, and obviously it was someone who was pushing for that new internet tax law to go through. I just assumed that it was better to charge it then to be audited and find out later that I was fined and in trouble for not claiming taxes. The officer told me that some company's do require sales tax even if someone lives out of state. I'm not sure.
Did you not see the "Al Peters" correspondence? If you did then in what universe would you think everything was copesetic after something like that?Kenny, I assumed everything was cool between us after I wrote you that last email and I assumed you were a person with a "heart", but maybe not.
//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gifI was greatly surprised when I realized that you took over my ebay link which I use to show customers our rims and then you changed that page as well and said beware "I'll stab you in the back". I assumed this nonsense was over, and was confused after I tried to make amends and then realized you did this to my personal site??
A company that only allows the consumer to communicate with the people they see at Point Of Sale and noone else? (A) That seems ludicrous to me. (B)Is is not particularly good business practices to keep your customers at arm's length...the customers are good enough to take their money but not good enough to talk to the people that made the product they've purchased? I begin to see how it is that your business practices and ethics need so much work.Anyways, I never recieved any email from you after I sent you the last one apologizing, please remember that your email address is blocked from both of my emails and thats why I told you to send it to wissy898@yahoo.com . I have no problem sending you what you need as far as a new lug kit, and a signed document from my company with our leader head saying you have a 3 year warranty on your items. All warranty issues are handled through my company, and I have your name in my computer and your warranty with the first day you purchased the rims which is 3 years from that date. As far as giving you the phone number to our distributor who is out of the Country, I am not allowed to do that because we have a strict agreement with them about not having any of our customers contact them directly, they deal directly with the company's theirself and get very upset when a customer calls them. I learned the hard way when we gave a previous customer their contact info and the owner called me the next day and complained.
After we've all seen how dodgy of an operation that you run and the multiple ringers you've tried to run Kenny through (tenacious teenagers who have enough sense not to let someone screw them over FTW!) one would hope that you'll stand behind your products and not give him any static should he genuinely have an issue in the future. So if you have any future problems with your rims and spinners, my company are the ones who will replace your items and you can contact me directly if you need something.
Seems someone is crawfishing. Can you please promise me that you will end the www.laddmurdock.com page and also give me access back to my http://www.mihpresents.com/rims.html page which shows our customers the rims? The authorities mentioned that you had clearly broke the law when you broke into this weblink which my company used to display our rims, but I'm not worried about pursuing this internet crime if we can work it out. I honestly didn't know what you were doing and I was told it was illegal for you to take over my weblink off of ebay, so I contacted the internet crime division which the authorities guided me to: " ic3.gov". I filed a complaint with them because I had no idea what you were doing when I realized you took over my weblink from ebay, and I will remove the complaint when I hear back from you. I assumed you were out to get blood, because I just had sent you that apology email and then I noticed you had taken over that new link on ebay which made me very confused and thus the reason why I contacted them. I just want to get this resolved and behind us, and I'm willing to do the things you requested. Since I will be sending you a signed document, can you please send me a document saying you will agree to remove the bad web pages and listings you had done about my company? Hopefully you will remove the thing which pops up on google as well when someone enters: wholesale rims. Hope this gets resolved. Thanks for understanding about what happend to my friend. LM
