I spoke with the police officer, and he told me after I fax him the bank statement where he fraudulently tried to charge the tax that the officer deamed "fake" that he would forward the police report and the bank statement over to the state attorney for screening, and that I would recieve a call someone in the next month.

What was not surprising was that he was a suspect in a fraud case already, so this just adds to it. He told me raisedin would be a great witness when/if this thing goes to trial. He could not provide me with a EIN #, but I did tell him what you guys told me about him probably not paying tax at all and he said he put it down for the attorney to investigate. Wouldn't that be a godsend, eh?

If anyone could find me 12 x 1.5 lug nuts (the one I have in front of me says 12x1.5 3/8-18 on it) with a different key that allow spinners to be screwed into it I would greatly appreciate it, I don't wanna take any chances, you know?

Someone is always home here, so if someone wants to vandalize my house or car, the police here are very nice... someone tried to break in years ago and patrol cars and K-9's watched my house overnight to make sure we were safe. My Viper 791XV goes in on Monday!

Did you tell them how he said supposedly he talked to some one that is interested in coming to take the rims?
The 791 should protect you from some one trying to steal your rims.

Yeah, he said the local police department over here should be more than happy to hear from me. Going to wait until a little later (it's 2 AM here) and just let them know just so I have it on file... in case something happens. Even if I goto a shopping center and someone steals my rims, Ladd is going to be responsible most likely for posting my information and handing out keys.

I don't know if the 791 will protect my rims... but it will sure as hell protect my car. Until Ladd is in jail or gives up, the faceplate will go inside the house when I'm not in the car!

This might just be all it takes to push the 'rents into getting a security system around the house. Camera facing the cars and sides of houses wouldn't hurt, small fee for what it will do for us in the long run. Anyone have any recommendations on how to handle constant recording of 2-4 cameras?

Call me over-protective, but I've been pretty lucky with my investments being untouched. A little security won't hurt.

Yeah thats true. If your rims do get jacked Ladd will be responsible for the rims being stolen! Complaint Description:

This complaint is already pending investigation by Mr. Ladd Murdock's local law enforcement, case # xxx. Mr. Murdock sold me rims and spinners for my car at an affordable price. I gave him my credit card information for the original purchase, and weeks later he contacted me claiming he "forgot" to add a sales tax charge of $147 to my original order. He told me he was going to put it on the card I gave him for the original order. I told him no, he's not authorized and I called my bank to find out he ran the card anyways. He told me if I disputed it he would not replace a defective lug that came with the product and that the 3 year warranty on my products would be void.

Your Desired Resolution:

Warranty not void and replacement lug, as well as no additional charges than the original contract. If that's not possible, I would like a full refund with no restocking fees or shipping fees.

SWEET dude, hopefully this helps someone out. I don't think his website is wholesalerims.com though.

I've recieved probably three IM's already saying they were going to purchase rims from him but this has helped them making a decision they would regret. Just the feeling from helping people to not experience a bad situation like this has made this whole ordeal worthwhile.
