I'm going to be installing an Alpine MRP-M1000 and Fi SSD in my friend's Charger. But the electrical system in the LX cars are nightmares! It took us 3 days and 3 different capacitors from Radioshack to get his HID "plug and play" kit working. Same company I got mine from, but apparently the LX cars have a "pulsating" charging system. I really don't know much about it. I know the battery is located in the trunk. He already has an Alpine DVA-310 head unit so RCAs will be used like normal, instead of a LOC.
I'm just wondering if there is anything special I need to do to hook up the power wire and where is a good ground spot. He ordered a 4 gauge power wire kit from KnuKonceptz, I gave him my old Monster RCAs and my old 2.0 cube box tuned to 32hz. Can I just hook up the power wire to the rear battery and fuse like normal?
