too many factors. Depends on your location, pricing and how well known you are. Plus, you got to spend alot of money to start everything up.

ya I know about all the factors... Im in a pretty prime location the city I plan on opening in is growing dramatically went from about 8k people in 95 up to 23k people in 2003. Plus there are about 6 small towns surrounding it with not a shop within 25 miles of them some farther... I would be smack dab in the middle... Also Ive workd for the 2 premier shops in the area and got my name out pretty **** good!

unless you are in a GREAT location. then you could probably double that.

Been doin it outta the garage for 5 years and outta the shop for the last 3... Had the flyers cards/ Own Clients!

Car Audio seems like a better hobby than business. Especially in this economy. See the theft rates in your area. Higher theft is repeat customers from those stolen from as well as new customers trying to get those stolen goods installed.

haha ya we dont have a very high theft rate... One small city bout 10 miles away does but not around my direct area..... Any approximation on what it takes to get started?????

don't forget about your buy ins that gonna be needed to get product. then there's the cost of the shop and bills, paychecks etc., unless ur the only worker. the first couple years you'll probably be "in the hole" but all in all. if you do good work and keep busy it'll start out a "low paying job" but in the end you could do pretty good. my ex bro in law did. i thought wichita had a few shops?? maybe i'm thinkin somewhere else. i

Don't be a DICK either. There are some audio places where the owner is a douche bag and no one likes to go there and him being that way makes no one want to go to that place.
