Anyone here have a Jeep? Redoing grounds...

Right now I have my amplifiers grounded to the SAME seatbelt bolt (my 4 channel and my monoblock.) and it doesnt seem like the greatest place can anyone recommend a better ground in the rear of a jeep? or is the seatbelt bolt directly to the frame and a good spot?

Also I have my big III done but I have my Engine grounded to my batteries Negative terminal not the Chassis and I have the battery grounded to the original bolt on the side of the frame. Are these good spots or do I need to put my Engine ground directly to the frame and should I move my battery ground to something better like the Strut Bushing?

I'm just trying to get rid of the most resistance I can and make my grounds a little better so any recommendation or whatnot would help. It's a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 1995.

That's what I was thinking but it seems like sometimes I have a lot of resistance and voltage drop and I'm thinking grounds may be an issue I mean so far the system runs fine doesnt go below 13v almost ever unless I play lows slamming while idle and I don't get much dimming. I just want to see as much power as I can and a simple ground move could help.

i see in your sig your running a lot of power, i would suggest an extra bat in the back at the least and a high output alternator for sure.

I'm only running about 1600w off 2 very efficient amplifiers , I was thinking of throwing something small and cheap in the back or maybe just go big and throw an Odyssey PC1700 in the rear. I'm most definatly getting a Fitzall 220a soon here I just need to find out if it'll fit my new jeep as well if it does then I'll be getting one before summer and a 2nd battery. I just want my system READY for this upgrade so I don't have to go back and re-ground and **** I love finishing work and not having to go back and fix mestakes.

1600rms even at 80% efficiency is more than your alternator puts out.
But I also have a battery, big III and runs of 0 gauge and I've tuned pretty precisely for no clipping just figured I would be seeing a bit better voltage and a little more power without voltage dropping so much.

be careful with the fitzall bro. ive heard of people having trouble with those in the past. they dont fit right in some applications even when they say they do.
Well that's a lot of fun I guess I'm going with a cheap 150a OEM until I get my new jeep then haha not chancing a $400 alternator not fitting.

call powermaster for your alt ,instead, and also your stock alt is a small amp alt ,so this is your problem ,not the amps.
I may the point was I was trying to get a H.O to run in my jeep until I get my new jeep and just switch over I probably can't do that with anything but a Fitzall... So I'll just go with a cheap OEM big enough to run my current setup, I can get one for about 1$ an amp.

Lift up your carpet near where the rear seats attach at the bottom...there should be some type of grommet somewhere, just run some 1/0 thru it and go directly to the frame. Thats exactly what I did on my jeep. Its a 2000 grand cherokee however...but here are some pics of my grounds.
