yup thats an original rc 10 alright
I was playing with it earlier but my batteries are shot. They have been sitting around too long. They work, just dont have much "uummmph" anymore. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

They are definately worth checking out. They are simple in design but oil shocks, full bearings, hotter motors, better batteries and upgraded chassis parts are easy to find and not real pricey. For as small as they are they can take a beating.

duratrax kyosho yokomo and associated have models with bearings and oil filled shocks already but are 4wd. mini t looks cool and priced good ready to run (100 bucks on linne with radio and all) but it doesnt have the parts on it already that the others do for about 150-170 bucks. tekin has a brushless set up for the "mini's" that makes them fast as i can ever imagine. at least 40 mph and i think im being rather conservitive.

Duracrap? Not even an option. Kyosho, good luck on finding parts locally. Same with Yokomo. Really it comes down to parts availabilty, and what you would rather have be it 2 wheel dr., 4 wheel dr., buggy or mini monster. I mainly bought the Losi's because everybody jumps on the "it's new" bandwagon and they sell the "not new" stuff for cheap. I needed something for my 4 yr. old daughter to beat on that would't cost me 600.00 bucks to replace. These have worked out great so far.

I have TOOOOOO many **** hobbies. Between my off road shop and trucks, my jet ski's, my mountain biking, my stereo shiat, and my R/c's, I don't know how I find time for a wife and 4 yr. old. I need to find a hobby so I can relax LOL.

The mini rage is rather sexy. I am waiting on one to come in that I ordered from towers. I have an 18t with a mamba and 7 cells in it. 18th scale is all we race this time of year locally. With the associated 18th scales ( 18t 18mt 18b) , they are all the same basically with different bodies, wheels and tires. If you get one, it doesn't take much money to make it into the other. Spare parts also tend to be cheaper for the 18th scale as opposed to their larger brethren. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

what is a mamba? a speed control? i was looking at a novak esc as i wanted to do seven 1100 cells on a reedy mini mod on a 18b. only thing "extra" i will get unless it breaks are the aluminum dog bones. do you think the xps stock speed control can handle a 7 cell+ mod motor?
