i was looking at them today and figured i might as well get one. leaning towards the associated rc18b but the others look good as well (duratrax vandetta, the losi mini truck and a few others)

Here's mine. I haven't messed with them in a while. Dirty as hell. They were fast. I might try 'em out again someday. If my battery packs still work. They are Team Associated.

i used to race electric buggies on a regional level back in the mid to late 80's then in the last 5 yrs i got a nitro rc10t. thing with nitro is the engins are touchy i blew 2 of them up while gassing it in the air lol (during a jump) broke the piston rod both times. i just want a little "putter" the 1/18th scale electrics are about 9 to 10" long and can do about 30 mph modified. the one im looking at costs 150 bucks new and would need about 65 bucks in mods to get the extra speed they are full time 4 wheel drive. they also have a 1/18th scale nitro car that looks ungodly fast but its like 3 times as much and can only be driven on REALLY flat and clean pavement.

Mini t's arnt as upgrdeable as most truck, there toys not hobbys if uwant a hobby go nitro or HPI electric

i dont have my rc 10t nitro any more i loved it but engines are too expensive..you break one you upgrade lol not only that when they break it fuxx up the cylinder walls. im probbly gonna buy the 18b cause i like the buggy look. back in the day i had a grasshopper that did 47 mph lol then a kyosho ultima on a graphite plate. i used to beat up rc 10's but wasnt that the car was better. sqeak is yours gas or electric?
