lol i had that in my old tahoe, im just glad my stock system has an 8in sub in back haha

A kid in high school always told me and other people his "system" was louder than mine. He had 2 sony xplods in some pos box, he then drilled a hole in the side of it to "port it", he said it made it sound like shit and he stuffed a sock yes...a sock in the hole to "fill it back in for now". Theyre also running on some 150w 2 channel amp he got off ebay. Heres the real kicker. He has his sony xplods, front speakers, rear speakers, and HU running off this amp he says lol. I no longer live there due to college but another friend that knows the kid said a few months ago he went to walmart and bought one of those "build it yourself" boxes.

It doesnt really fit in as they arent my friends but I go to school for automotive (or collision/refinishing should I say) so everything thinks they know EVERYTHING when it comes to cars. Today I overheard these 3 kids talking and one of them was sayin he used to have this and that in his old car, and so did the rest. One guy was saying he used to have 3 audiobahns and could be heard from two miles away. Another guy was saying the loudest sub he ever heard was a jensen xsv,xv,sv, something V. Another guy said theres a VW rabbit that hits 177 but it has concrete walls in it or some bs. Same guy talking about audiobahn was saying that theyre the best along with RF. Basicly just all kinds of bs.

yeah i had a friend like that , he swore that audiobahn was the best company out there, and that they were better then alpine and boston, and mb quart. i would alway try to tell him that they sucked the major one, he was like ur full of it. so i gave up at even trying

before i got my system a kid with 2 12" duals in a bandpass box said he'd be louder then me, then he said if he threw a 1500watt audiobahn amp he'd kill me

and another kid told me 2 15" memphis PRs and 2 12" memphis M3s would kill me

well long story short

i dunno whos louder than who really, but i hate when you tell ppl what you have and they say, " you should have got a kicker" cause thats all they know about. some guy at my job was pretty much talkin down on me when i said i was goin all soundstream in the trunk, puffin up like his half dead kicker comp 15" was the baddest. i could see if he had some l7s and a 2500/1 or something along those lines, but not an old loose *** sub on a flea market amp. 18 more days //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif
