okay
they are... after alot of research on diet pills and other diets etc. in a class i took in Highschool for projects basically i've learnedOh ok, because diet pills are bad for you.
*ANY* diet that is a program, and does not require regular exercise, will not work. guaranteed, and if it does work (loss of weight), it is doing SOMETHING unhealthy to your body.
that said, the BEST way to lose weight is just to eat healthy, and then work out some.
you really don't have to run every day, or lift every day in order to lose weight
if you stop eating shit food like McDonalds/Wendys/Taco Bell/Dairy Queen/Arby's/Jack in the Box/etc. etc. etc... 99% of fast food places have lots of ingredients in their food that your body literally has no use for, they are there as serious preservatives, or to make the food "look" better. there's all kinds of garbage you shouldn't be eating, your body doesn't know what to do with it and it mostly becomes fat.
the same is said for processed food. i haven't eaten a chips a hoy cookie, or an oreo, or any of that prepackaged processed snacks in years. i also have not bought a soda in years. (i do drink energy drinks alot though, so i guess there's my vice, those are horrible for you)
anything that has more than simple ingredients (wheat, barley, vegetables, things that exist naturally) on the nutritional facts label... such as (partially hydrogenated oils [that stuff in particular is EXTREMELY bad for you, does nothing good for your body except converts to fat or just runs right through in a bad way] Red 5, Yellow 8, all that crap) i haven't looked at the back of that stuff in a while... but anything that looks like you should've learned about it in chemistry, probably shouldn't be in your body.
so, to sum it up, No Fast Food, no soda, no overly processed foods, a decent work out schedule, and you'll feel much better, and start to lose weight. stick to it!
lots of vegetables, pastas (Atkins is bullshit, bad for your body!), meats, fruits...
mmmm!! good, healthy God-grown and given foods.
