Anyone ever had a successful workout/diet?

me. Ity was pure vegetable soup for about a month. Lost 10 pounds. But you get sick of it very easy. I wanted to vomit everytime i drank it after the seocnd week. The important thing was that is worked though. And every friday theres a 12 ounce steak a well for a good job for eating nothing but the crap. Works well, but it's something you have to be devoted to.

 
...and a sunflower seed diet. my teacher from like 6th grade ate nothing but salads for lunch and sunflower seeds the rest of the day (i bag a day). she lost like 30lbs fast. not sure thats too healthy though.......

I am actually about 40lb over weight (I'm 6' 2" so it doesnt seem like so much), but I would like to bulk up. If you just want to bulk up all you gotta do is get in the gym, since you're overweight, you're fat will readily turn into muscle. You may find yourself eating even more because you need those extra calories to keep your energy throughout the day... Eating healthier will quicken your gains but is not necessary...

 
Well, I will admit it I am not what you would call thin, and I want to do something about it. Has anyone in the past had any real good success with a diet and workout combo? Macbethpoe, about 5 months ago i was 230 pounds... and now today im around 179-180.. so thats what? 50 pounds lost.. what i did was.. i took Stackers 3 for awhile. lost about 10 pounds on them.. then i started to take Leptopril its the offbrand of leptoprin.. you can get like 90 capsils. for 37 bucks at walmart it works well it craves your appetite.. but too me it didnt seem like it did.. i ate anything i want .. i mean ANYTHING. and i still lost weight.. it works.. i know i didnt do anything different. i didnt even workout or excercise at all. lol

kinda misleading----fat cannot be converted to muscle, its not chemically possible. but there is a small bit of truth here. If you want to bulk up--thats easy. Use a muscle building workout(not toning) and eat lots of carb rich foods--pasta, meats, potatoes, bread. the carbs help build muscle. after you put on about 20 pounds of muscle you will see yourself starting to lose weight. Lean muscle mass burns energy at an incredible rate so once you put that 20 pounds of muscle on, cut back on the carbs, eat lots of fruit and veggies and switch to aerobic type and toning exercises and the weight will start dropping quickly. weight loss is a life long commitment tho so if your gona do it--stay on course.. good luck

 
believe it or not all i did was stop drinking soda and stop eating chips o hoy and oreo's and i lost 12lbs before i even starting exercising. just dont eat as much of the junk you eat now and it should be a breeze. and dont have crap food in the house and you are less likely to want it becuse its not there. and of course NEVER go food shopping when you are hungry. youll buy crap you would never buy if you were not hungry,and whos gonna end up eating it anyway.....you.
