question since we are on teh topic of military:

when the military (ie-USCG) does a debt/income check does this include auto insurance and cell phones? i wouldnt think so as the are not loans but idk for sure..

Im actually not sure what all the include in the checks they do. you hear so much stuff the "Check for" and really dont.

then your not a combat medic yet because you havent gone through your AIT yet ..

its just a MOS to get me into the army, i've already accepted a ROTC scholarship and get commissioned in 2 years, but i'll be going into aviation...hopefully

When I was getting my Secret clearance I don't remember having a problem. I had a pager bill that I didn't pay and another account that I didn't pay until I was out of the military. But i was able to have a Secret Clearance while I was in teh military. But if you need a Top Secret Clearance that could come into play.

i just need secret clearance for AST not top. but the USCG says if your debt to income ratio is 30% ur a no go. and i was just trying to figure out what they included in that figure..
