BTW nothing bothers me more than coming in on an instrument approach in a Huey and having the tower guy asking me to confirm that my gear is down...if it isn't down, it's missing. Just once I wanted to reply that I wasn't getting gear indications in the cockpit and request a low approach for a visual gear inspection, only to pull into a hover in front of the tower right at eye level so the controller could get a good look at the skids quite solidly BOLTED in place on the bottom of the aircraft.

so were you a warrant? I wanna go into aviation after i get done with my ROTC program, so any tips suggestions would be sweet
