anyone else haveing problems with their alpine CDA-9815

Im having a few problems with mine where it will randomly like to turn off, or when it turns on the text will be all scrambled and I will not be able to read it. Is anyone else experiencing this and what did you guys do to fix it. I hope to upgrade to a DVD/NAVI unit in the future but right now i just dont have the funding and need this one to work.
