anyone doing 150+ out of the TRUNK of a car?

pictures? and this was a full in the TRUNK setup.. not spilling out into the back seat. no batts or amps taking up seat space or foot space up front

My trunk is bare at the moment. All the equipment I named I have had a forsale thread for with pics of everything except for the rdx's I sold those on ebay. I have a 94 B body (impala clone) the trunks are huge in these cars. everything was in the trunk. subs,enclosure two batteries and amps. I promise my new nightshade build or even the tempoary build with the mach5's (if I buy them from rashadd) I will post pics and vids

you have a small car lol.. I wish I metered my 12w6's off the t1000.bd I had em on.. they sounded sexy.. shoulda kept em and did like 4 of em..

still not bad for one.. I mean I can tune that high now and probably do 145s.. I start to lose dbs going there now though.. being tuned to 30hz with a 50hz lpf.. the ids fill in the rest for me.. still haven't had time to finish the pods for em..

Before i sealed the trunk off i did a 145.5 @ 39hz. Single mt 18 off a saz-3500. Its sealed properly now so i have no clue to what kind of gain ive had.

I guess my thoughts about 2x the power to have close to 5k is what I needed to do were right.. I might have found the source for some RECENT amps that just came on the market and can get em CHEAP

I know of someone doing 148-49 with 2 DD9512s, 2 SAZ-3k, and 2 batts. Subs and port facing forward w/ seats off (u can still install them though)

Last set-up, one DD 9515 off of one SAZ 3K, one battery, seats up did a 145 @42hz. Box was 4.5 cubes tuned to 35hz...waiting on my IA 40.1 to get back to see what my new set-up does.

I built the car in my signature below, I can tell you its the product of 4 years or fun\frustration, Trunks are not easy to get loud but what car really is "easy" its all about maximizing what equipment you have then pushing it to its limits

I managed a 146 in my Cadillac with no fold down rear seat, no ski hole, no rear deck porting. Trunk completely sealed off from the car as it came from the factory... SPL15/TeamPSI and a XXX-6500D in 4.5ft^2 @ 40hz, peaked at 46hz~
