Anyone doing 150 out of the trunk of the car? meaning back seats still installed(whether down or up).. or can be installed while everything is in..

I have 2500watts and 1 18" btl got 143.xx at 32hz.. looking for more.

currently looking at 2 15" AA havocs hoping it will add some dbs.. Not looking to do it at 40+ hz either so if thats what you are doing 150 at keep it moving.. looking for low/deep bass not a swarm of bees attacking me and my passengers

and yes I know thorshammer is but he went out looking for a fight lol.. he wanted something no one else had the balls to do

1. I know I posted that in the op..

2. I don't feel bad at all he has 28kw+ at tap.. in any other vehicle with the amount spent he could easily be bass racing 160+

I've been dieing to do 2 10" custom SA Nightshades or 2 12" DPs or Wardens in a trunk... I'd LOVE to have the money to fiddle w/ that ish!

I'm doing a 146.1 at 49hz with my back seat down and that was with my stock alt I now have a 225 amp gm excessive amperage alt so I'm curious as to what my score is now.

Set up consists of what is in my sig.

Looking to up it to 2 HDC 12's and another 2200D and another battery and seal off trunk from cabin and hopefully I'll be doing a 150 but I know how hard it is to do a 150 out of a trunk car but I'm keeping my hopes up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

those just don't have the cone area I am looking for.. 12s might be OK if I did 3+ of them..

I am not looking to play anything even kinda close to that high in frequency.. but I guess nice for you.. I am doing 3 less db than you but all the way down at 32hz.. hell I did a 142.xx at 28hz if I remember correctly

Ya that is going to be a pretty big feat to get that much pressure at that low of a frequency. Cone area is going to be your friend here. Problem I have is fitting 2 15's and enough port area on my front baffle. I got just enough space for it just not enough area on my front baffle

Well, I have a 1986 Caprice I am working on, right now it's 3 10's vented box all sealed off into the car, no action into the trunk, seat in place, on a SAE-1000D. I have not put it on the TL yet, I suspect outlaw around 140-142ish, but it's only 3 300rms 10's and a SAE-1000D. New setup will either be 2 heavy duty 10's and a SAZ-4500D and a MUCH bigger port, or 3 heavy tens and same box as now (3x9 port) or I have a box plan for 6 10's fired into the car, not the trunk with a big *** port in the middle... Problem is I am trying to actually KEEP my trunk space. My current box doesn't go much past the start of the trunk lid it's all under the rear deck. The 6 10's would work no prob but would go further into my trunk space... I think 150+ out of the trunk is just a matter of sealing it off to where it all goes in the car and having enough cone/power. Shouldn't be too hard, just got to be a little uncoventional, too many people lose mad dB by facing their subs backwards in their trunk, lots of cancellation going on in there.
