It means "attenuation." Its there to lower the level of the tweets so they balance with the mids. There's usually a -3dB and -6dB position.

Right. I was gonna ask if it showed a -3,0, or +3

The W and the T W is for woofer T is for tweeter. Input is from the amp.

ok so speaker wires from amp to input then speaker wires that come out of door to what? then tweeter to tweeter of course.

Amp + and - to Input +and- of the Crossover. No matter where you put the crossover, from there Wire it up from W to Woofer and from T to tweeter. As normal.

but what do i do with the stock wires coming from the door(stock speaker wires.? do i put them to speaker like normal as if were coaxials then twist in other speaker wire run that one to the crossover?

What's on the other end of the stock speaker wires from the doors? If they are going to your component mids, wire them in the mid output position on the crossover. If they're not going to anything, don't use them. If they're still going to the stock speakers, they shouldn't be hooked to the crossover and I would have to wonder why you still have the stock speakers if you have components installed.
