Any worthy 6.5in subs out there?

Is your seat all the way back?
yep, ill try and get a pic once I get off work. I currently have the bench seat that originally came in the truck. Trying to find buckets but not soo easy. the seat is back as far as it will go but isn't as comfortable as I like. Short distance driving ok but I like to hit the highway a lot and visit family out of town and im sure those trips will be a pain sitting up closer to the wheel. Its not too bad but not what Im used to. The way the seat is made, it does not touch the subs at all.

Ok cool I was just wondering, im a big guy lol and even though i wont be daily driving the truck I still want it to have at least some room. My dad always wanted a better sound system and about 10-12yrs ago i talked him into a headunit upgrade. So its got a old kenwood headunit and 6disc changer lol. I would like to upgrade that to a Pinoeer AVH2800 along with new door and rear speaker, the 2-3 6.5in subs and a "smallish" amp. He used to tell me he wanted to pull up to kids with blasting systems and surprise them with his blasting country music or motown music. Now that hes passed and im getting the truck, I would like to kinda do that without going to far with the truck. He never was impressed with the space my 2 kicker 15's ate up in my escort back in the mid 90's lol.

Sorry about your dad man. Same thing with me. My dad passed and he loved his truck. Just want to keep it up and do some things to it that he would have wanted.

The more i play these subs, the more i like them. As far as low bass such as decaf music....they are ridiculous(in a good way). Up high is ok....they seem to struggle some but, ive still some tuning to do.

Im at my neice graduation but ill take pics this evening

Additinally, no need to reference "max" anything as those specs are useless. Most of know how to look at specs for a given speaker, amp, HU, etc...

If they had an orange basket I would have to buy them.... Hmmmm Sell my 4 Xs and get 6 of those and do no-wall again with one more 4500.....

That’s the little single 6.5 inch enclosure. The Savard did just as well as the RDS. These subs do well in ported or 6th orders but not as well...

Look at the Alpine Type S subs.
