Any places around socal I can get my amp repaired/inspected? I don't want to deal with paying for shipping and all so no out of state places thanks. Also how much do you think it would cost?

Story time: I was running errands and my sub stoped playing during a song I wasn't playing it loud so I thought it might of gotten disconnected somehow but then the next time I turned on the car I got this terrible smell I thought I blew the sub but that wasn't the case I opened my amp and I see this.

What kind of amp is this? Can we get a shot of the entire board? Mainly just because I am a curious bastard . I wanna say you have some blown PS fets but its too close of a pic to tell.

He is in Texas

Isn't Zed audio California based? They will repair all makes and models. If they are close enough that would be my choice
In Simi Valley (about an hour drive north of LA).

Both are reliable, neither are cheap and neither are fast. Typically the reputable shops have a big backlog of work.

Honorable mention to Ampmedics in Tampa, and Sound West in Seattle. They are also stand up guys who do great work.

It's a us merlin md2d, I'm guessing the fets are in the back? How would I remove the board to check it I don't want to unscrew something that will mess it up also that box in the bottom smells is it repairable or able to switch it. I could fix it myself I just don't know what parts to get, I have a soder iro

I finally had time to open it all the way, I posted the links because they are big pictures. For sure the first picture the fets are burned, but the board has this hard brown coat over the solder, you can tell on some pictures but they look burned on the pictures for some reason. It sort of looks like melted sugar.

Does anyone happen to have a 2nd gen m2d2 or know someone that has one, I'd like to fix it but I can't tell what kind of resistors it needs since they are burned.
