Any real difference in using Gold vs Silver ring terminals?

The purpose of gold plated terminals isn't the conductive properties of gold (which are good, but only marginally better than copper...or even aluminum) but the NON REACTIVE properties of gold. Gold plated terminals will never corrode, oxidize, or tarnish.

that is the description, where did you read the words "hyper oxygen free copper" or even the words "oxygen free copper" or "OFC"? exactly

6 lines downHigh Purity Oxygen Free Copper Standing unless thats not what I think it is.
the words purity and stranding, really? explain to me how you figure that Cadence can sell OFC wire cheaper than every single company that sells OFC wire? especially since it's more than half the price difference. serious ppl need to use a little more common sense and get better educated on simple things.

And I have been slightly educated. :V

just keep in mind that Cadence wire is actually very good wire. it's actually one of the better CCA wires on the market especially for the price. I use a lot of Install Bay wire which gets completely malled on the forums but I know its CCA wire and what kind of power it can handle.

Well what I was planning on running was a Skar SK1500.1 @1ohm so just under 1400watts, thats probably too much for Cadence wire then right? Would it be okay with that wattage/use in the car for power/ground?

what other amps are you going to be running? what size alternator? how long of a run?

Just the Sk1500.1 for now, in the future getting a second SK1500.1, then after maybe investing in a SK80.4 (but by that time I'll upgrade further).

105a alt (ran perfect on my Alpine MRX-M100 @1000watts)

And from Front to Trunk, the Kicker 4gauge kit I use now is 20feet which is plently long. So between 20-23feet.
