quick!!! i want review!!! lol... eheh... even watching the pic of the vanadium was enough to make me drool, wonder what it will be like to hold them *feeling envy*other than taking them out of the box and drooling a little.. I haven't done anything else with them yet... sorry
Loyd L.
They are dual 4 ohm drivers.btw... what does it mean by Impedence 2x 3.6 Ohm @ 100Hz? what ohm do i get if i put them in parallel?
btw... i'm planning to get 4 set of the vanadium, put it all in one box sealed, do you think that's overkill or a waste of money? or i should get the amboss series instead? erm... its going to be for daily use... and i'm also planning to make my car as an entertainment car where all the tv and games will be put inside, but the local dealer hope i can transform it as a demo car as nobody have used rainbow yet in brunei...They are dual 4 ohm drivers.
according to the website, the nominal power the sub can take is up to 350 watt and 600 peak... so 350 x 4 = 1400 @ 1.8ohm... so i figure the lanzar opti2000d can give out that much power at 1.8ohm... so i told the dealer about what amp i had in mind, but he protest my idea saying that the opti broke easily and it wouldnt be a nice match with the vanadium...Aim for exactly what their rated power is or maybe 25% over. Let us know how it turns out.
yeah i know... but unfortunately, we don't really have a really expert technician available here in brunei... and that include me... so trying to be on the safe side, i think it would be better to use a single amp to power them...u can power 2 subs with 2 amps in 1 box.
