Ok i'm undecided on what subs i'll be running. Originally was gonna do 2 W7's then decided on 4 12" type r's then went to 2 15" type r's.....and now shopping for other options. Here are the parameters......can do up to 3 cubes per sub and they will get 1000 wrms each. looking for 2 15"s here. throw em up. looking for 50/50 spl/sq so SQL is the desired end result. have looked into 15" RL-P's, Type R's, and SI Mag D2's

lol iknow iknow....the deal was that a local shop was gonna semi-sponser me for promotional purposes and the agreement was that i had to pick equipment that they carried in their shop (shelf items)....originally thought 2 W7's then decided to go all alpine (look at my sig) now i've decided that i'll go with everything in my sig but the subs.

Depends on the budget, if you're really after two 15" Mags, it's obvious you don't have a budget. It took me months to save up for one, and I got it used. But **** is it a nice woofer.

well i got $5000 for the whole system and materials for the install. the shop is gonna charge me $2200 for the deck, amps, and comps and wiring. probably around $300-400 for materials and the rest goes to subs. But just because i have alot to spend on subs, doesn't mean i want to spend it all on subs. I don't even know what mags cost.

Well, no numbers mentioned, I paid the same amount for my two 12" IA LIs AND my single Shiva Mk4 as I did for my one 15" D2 Mag.

(Honestly until I start messing with a ported enclosure for the Mag the LIs have a one-up in output and high end rolloff.)

PLEASE don't get Type Rs. You really think they're going to measure up in any way to what other subs you've listed? If anything, get some IA subs and throw a little SQ in the picture.

well if you got the money for a mag go for it, if you can wait look into the new tc 5200 or lms 4000
