Any one weight lift?

I just stopped working out...was too busy doing other shit, and didnt have much interest. But now that I'm in college, I wanna stay in shape...no freshmen 15 for me. My goal is to be where I was 2 years ago, at least 50+ my weight in benching.

I need a good suppliment to help build muscle, any ideas lemans?

best supplements aren't really "supplements". i suggest a good whey protein (optimum nutrition, muscle milk, etc), some fish oil, and a low fat high omega 3 and protein diet (BNLS SKNLS chkn, salmon, lean beef (flank steak)). snacks are also not highly recommended but if u do wanna have some, then use something that'll help u. dry roasted sun flower seeds and peanuts are great.

I used to eat whey protein when I boxed, that shit seemed to work.

I forget tho, are you supposed to take a bit before you workout, and then a lot after you are done?

since muscle milk has alotta lipids, i take it before i workout, after i workout and take optimum nutrition before bedtime (sleep is catabolic, turn it into anabolic)

Try the "real food" diet. Protein sources sould come form something that has eyes, or that you can skin, fillet, pluck, etc. Carbohydrate sources sould come from things that grow - like plants, trees, fruits, roots, etc. Fat sources include butter, coconut oil, cod liver oil, nut and seed oils such as olive and flax oil, egg yolks.

99% of the whey protein on the market is garbage - litteraly. Don't waste you time or money on it.

Do you really think you can make muscle out of isolated and dammaged milk fragments that come from cow's so sick that they secrete enough pus in their udders that they have to pump billions of gallons of antibiotics into them just to stay alive?

You are what you eat! Think about it.

Right now I just eat lunch, class for an hour, and then 30 min later workout, wait bout 30min-hr and then eat dinner.

So should I eat muscle milk right before i workout? Or around 30min before? and then take the same amount after? what you mean optimum nutrition?

daaammnn...Well, Im in college, so I wont exactly be able to eat 100% healthy. I mean I can do my best...but still..its college food...

So what should I take for protein then? Is muscle milk shit?

If you are going to put on weight you need to eat more than the regular 3 meals a day. And the meals in between meals should be high in protein, if you are going to take muscle milk take it a little while before you workout, not right before. You can take some after or you can just take some whey protein after, either way will be helpful in gaining muscle mass.

Stay away from creatine whatever you decide to do

I wouldn't reccomend it...

I drink protein shakes often, i buy the mix in packets and make them myself with water, used to with milk but not anymore. As long as you are getting 40+ grams of protein per shake you should start putting on weight as long as you lift hard and dont stray away from the shakes

You are better off eating the package that stuff comes in rather than whats inside of it. Remember, cows that eat hay die faster than cows that eat nothing.
