Try the "real food" diet. Protein sources sould come form something that has eyes, or that you can skin, fillet, pluck, etc. Carbohydrate sources sould come from things that grow - like plants, trees, fruits, roots, etc. Fat sources include butter, coconut oil, cod liver oil, nut and seed oils such as olive and flax oil, egg yolks.
99% of the whey protein on the market is garbage - litteraly. Don't waste you time or money on it.
Do you really think you can make muscle out of isolated and dammaged milk fragments that come from cow's so sick that they secrete enough pus in their udders that they have to pump billions of gallons of antibiotics into them just to stay alive?
You are what you eat! Think about it.
