any of you queers powerlift or frequent the gym?

Generally I will do 5x5 or 5x3 starting at 199 going up to 230ish. If I'm feeling good I'll hang clean 230 a few times. Maxed 275 at 185 pounds. It's pretty hard to move up from there, I am at the point where my form is **** near perfect but I don't have the lower back strength to catch more weight than that. **** deadlift and squat in high school did my back in.

I've learned over the years that every member here benches 500lbs, is a playa and plou's hot *******, got a 1600 on their SATs, and makes mad cheddar.
I do believe that most members here would have a 2400 SAT now. Lots of youngins.

I do bench 140 x 20. Those are slow reps. I've never tried to see what I can squeeze out with more weight. BTW, I weigh about 140 as well. I take about 150 g of protein a day and drink a lot of water and Monster (because Monster is so good for you). I also take a few different multivitamins. Then, I turn on the black light, put on Pink Floyd, go to the john, and watch my piss like it's a laser show.

 
I used to work out ALOT before starting out Sundown... was pretty strong too.

No time these days... will likely end up on just a normal fitness program again sometime soon but nothing like I used to do. Used to write out calories, protein/fat/carb ratios, etc.

 
anyone got a link to something i should take b4 hitting the gym? i work nights and usually head right to the gym after work...so i need something that works fast but wont make me feel all crazy at the end of work....

 
I usually find some way to get my adrenaline pumped up while I'm driving. Usually I'll drive the Jeep nice to piss someone off, have them try and pass me, then let that 5.2 L sing and not let them past me. Everyone around here is always in such a hurry and is weaving through traffic. Occasionally I'll get lucky and stop at a light next to them afterwards and get to have some words with them. It definitely gets my adrenaline up for the gym. I'm sure if I keep doing it it'll start not having the same effect on me, but for now, it works.

what really matters is being able to bench 400lbs and wearing normal sized(32-36) jeans. me personally, i dont go for numbers...i go for how i look. yes you can bench 600lbs but whats the point if you wear size 42 pants....no'm sayin? this isnt going towards anyone, just an example.
