My plans would be to lay doors. I got the jist of bodydropping a truck, but no actually experience on it. How hard would it be to do a 95 S10 with 20's, laying door/bodyIt varies GREATLY depending on how low you want the body, what type of bodydrop (traditional, stock floor, tunnel...), vehicle, size of wheels...
It's not something you either 'know' or 'don't know.'
Every truck is different, in this aspect. You do need a pretty good knowledge of the intricate details of certain systems, though. Last time I cut one up, we had to pie cut the hood for it to close, buy a MUCH smaller brake booster and remount it, hide the heat system up under the dash, change the mounting points and lengths on the pedals...
And put some bucket low back seats in.
Personally, I wouldn't bodydrop a truck unless I was going to the doors.

you wanna lay rocker or you wanna be doored? i think thats about 1.5" difference on our S10's.My plans would be to lay doors. I got the jist of bodydropping a truck, but no actually experience on it. How hard would it be to do a 95 S10 with 20's, laying door/body

with 20's, you should be okay upfront with a lot of tubbing into the firewall. depending on tire size, you'll probably be about 1" from touching the hood underneath. you would probably have to run 225/30/20's.
there are bodydropped s10s on 22's, but again thats not doored. rocker should be fine. thats still veryy low. do you have a fleetside or stepside?
just thinking about that makes me cringe... the amount of work going into making that happen. plus with the newer tire sizes for the 24's i could see where that would help, i didnt think about that. my buddy has a 2/3 drop on his sonoma with 24's and its basically tucking rim in the back and most of the tire in the front lolYou can lay body on 24's. I posted the blue one that lays, but it's a TON of work.
I personally think dime's look sick laying door on an 18/20 combo.
Who has that now anyways? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gifmy old truck //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
