Any mini-truckers on here?

Thats how I used to roll. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

I used to have a lowered 91 longbox, stock 92 shortbox, lifted 89 s-blazer, and the pictured 2000 Sonoma.

Nice man.

I know a guy with bagged and bodydropped ranger, bagged s10, another guy with a bagged s10, one with a bagged blazer, one with a bagged silverado, and one with a bagged candy blue silverado //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

my s10 is lowered 4" w/ 20" wheels, basic body mods, nothing shaved yet. but im in a truck club that has about 10 bagged trucks. ill post pics of mine and more when i get out of work

i would be bagged, but the audioz haz me addicted and cant afford both right now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Maybe he would want to buy my 2001 S-10. Lowered 4/5. Decent rims and I am somewhat local.
its a quad cab, ive done alot of research, im a decent welder and fabricator and my buddy builds hot rod chassis for a living so we'll manage, its my daily driver so I wont be body dropping it, just layin frame.
I've seen a body dropped truck. He cut a lot of stuff out and it's really loud and drones inside of the cab.

There are pics somewhere...I am on the same name on s-10 forum.

Mine is not body dropped. The tires need replacing as it makes a humming sound. It's a good little truck, I just want a "real" truck.

Body drops are more for show trucks in my opinion, pretty unneccesary on the street. Im pretty much finished my interior/ audio now i wanna do the suspension.

There's a pic in my avatar. I love lowered vehicles but it seems to be hit or miss on the ride quality. I've ridden in Rangers with the same drop and low profile tires like mine that rode just like stock, whereas mine is pretty rough and hard to control sometimes. I have nice Monroe sensa-trac shocks from other trucks that allow a full range of motion but the ride still sucks. So sometimes its fun, sometimes I hate it.

You also get to the point where you have to spend tons of money to do anything else to the truck. If you get in the scene, have a vision for the truck so you don't get stuck halfway and waste a lot of money trying to change it up. I'd recommend just a drop, wheels, color matching exterior stuff, and a roll pan. Past that go nuts on the engine and audio. Bags, bodydrop, and $4000 paint jobs aren't for daily drivers as much as some people will try to tell you that. I wouldn't mind getting a $1500 90s Nissan pickup or something else cheap to cut up and have fun bagging, but I wouldn't bag a non-show truck that was otherwise in good shape and worth good money.
