Any good 12s with 1,000rms on a sealed box?

Hi there,

I currently have a 12" phoenix gold RSD sub in a .95cf sealed box with a jl 1000/1, its in a stealthbox so I cannot change the box.

I think this rsd sub needs al larger sealed box which I cannot change, so is tehre any other sub that will take 1,000 on a .95cf sealed box with 7" of mounting depth and sound better?

a kicker L7 12 will work pretty good ...you should be able to keep the same box..just mod the hole to fit the solo

I havent seen any L7 on sealed set ups...

How would teh CVX perform on a .95cf sealed if kicker recommends a minimum of 1 cf sealed?

The Q will not fit because of the mounting depth but the ssd seems that it would fit great, FI recommends a minimum of .8 cf for this sub sealed...

So the ssd might seem a good choice

How would the phoenix gold RSDC 12 compare to the Diamond Audio D6 in a .95cf sealed box with 1,000rms?

the diamond audio are great sounding... they are 1000 watt peak not rms... they can do about 500 all day

i've heard 1000RMS is to much for the Q's..... but I'd say maybe the SImag

1000 is what is supposed to be sent to the Q's. Yes, they perform fine off 600-900 watts. But 1000 is the RMS, and there are many that are sending 1200 or more to Q's w/o BP, just with gains set with DMM.
