Also pretty ugly IMO and **** a lot more gas. The scion is nice in that it came with A/C, power windows, locks etc but it has all of the other cheap jap car features also such as uncomfortable seats, cheap feeling interior etc.

I actually really like the new scions. My biggest gripe with the old xb was lack of power and no center armres up front

Working at a nissan dealership and driving versas every day I can say they are alright for a daily driver. They get good gas milage, lots of room, can get em with the cvt ******, intelligent key etc, stick shift is one of the easiest to learn on and drive....but i hATE the solid rear axle. I dunno why they didnt give it independent suspension...you'll see what i mean when you go over a speed bump or a bigger dip in the road

On topic, my co-worker had a Versa, he drove it like 20k miles in the first 10 months and he only had one issue with a fuel pump I believe. Fixed under warranty but he was without the car for like 2 days.

That's still 99.5% uptime ... and I'm sure they probably provided a courtesy car ...
My parents' Honda CR-V had the engine fail in the first month and they were without it for nearly 2 weeks ...
