Any aftermarket 5x7 or 6x8 experience?

I have a blown rear speaker in my lincoln ls, and i was planning to do a 6.5 in there with an adapter.. but i just thought about a straight up replacment.. just looking for feedback on any 5x7 or 6x8 speakers.

anyone ever bought any? liked any? disliked?

My friend had Infinity 6.5's in his rear deck for a while. They did alright.

I have some boston sl80s, I really like them. They are 5.25" with tweet plate speakers.

Blaupunkt Vx573, 5x7 3-way speaker, $40 a pair on ebay right now, best oval speaker in the dam world, 3" voice coil, 2 dome tweeters, 120rms each, carbon fiber cone...

@misfit: Oh yeah u got the stocks? i wonder how much shipping would be.... do u know what u might want for them?

and there 6x9 aren't they? i thought the whole car was 6x8's but crutchfield told me the rear decks were 6x9. that would make sense considering they're nothing but bass.

@buck: no the lincoln has stock amps, i just gotta get up in the trunk to see what kinda watts its putting out. im assuming not much so im looking for a not so needy speaker that well do well off low RMS.

i got som factory 5x7/6x8s but i would advise going with a nice set of 6.5s
