i sold the mustang and the system went with it....so im back for more!

I have a 2013 F150 and want a little bass.

I will be using this box: 2009-2013 Ford F150 Extended Cab Truck Custom Single 12" Subwoofer Enclosure Sub Box - FTB1X12-09EX150

I need a sub and amp and wiring.

Ive had FI/Treo subs and Kicker/Soundstream amps in the past but im not limiting myself on anything.

my only limitation is the mounting depth of the box since its going under the back seat.

i want to keep it under 1000rms and under 500 bucks...if at all possible.

thats about it with the build and i have one question: can i mount the amp on the sub box in that extra space opposite the sub???

other than that, i hope to have this all ordered by Monday so what you got??

ETA: i also need an LOC since i still have the stock radio and have no plans on changing it.

ok...so f*ck me right....

i get everything in and im hosed.

the box doesnt fit under the seat like it should. the sub doesnt fit in the box like it is supposed to. the magnet's diameter is too much for the cut out in the bottom and the woofer extends up past the sides.

so, there goes the box and sub. the amp is awesome, no complaints there but since i'll be going lower rms, i'll get something smaller.

now, im back to square one. i think im just going to go with a JL Audio PowerWedge box/sub and run a smaller amp to it and be done. that'll get me around 400rms for less than $500 bucks.

a lot less than what i wanted but thats fine, it will still sound good.

any thoughts on this setup???
