I came over to this forum from caraudioforum.com becuase that site is starting to fall apart. I really haven't been a member on there for too long either, maybe a few months. My current setup is:

Pioneer DEH-6000UB

2 Type R's

2.8cf box @35hz

Kicker zx1000.1

Kenwood 2 way comps

Mtx rt202

160 amp alt from Knukonceptz

RF 1 farad cap

Eventually I want to get a zx350.4 & a decent set of coax's for the back, but that'll be down the road.

I have the cap on there becuase I use it as a distrobution block to split power to the two amps. Otherwise it wouldn't be there. Don't really need it with the alternator. I already owned the cap from before, saved a few bucks.

And I dig the alternator fairly well. It's only 90 amps at idle & is rated for 160 @ 1500rpm; but for me that's just fine because I generally only bump while driving. At stoplights I turn it down a bit to be curteous, and I never get to bump it parked anymore. The alt was a direct stock replacement & came with about 6 feet of 4gauge to do my big 3 with.
