Another Hifonics vs Audioque Question

This is sort of a dumb question, Im currently running a single 18"D2 IA Death Penalty on a Hifonics BXi2608 and am gonna upgrade and add another 18". My question is if I run 2 Audioque 2200's strapped to 2 18's will I be able to notice a big difference in sound from my current set-up of 1 sub and hifonics amp?. I was thinking of doing 2 saz-3k's strapped but I dont have enough space for 2 sundowns.

doubling the cone area and almost double power you should see a big difference. that is if you get the proper box and electrical to handle the 2amps.

To save money, why not keep the Hifonics amp you have now and get another one? Not sure if they are strappable, but might be an idea.

Those audioque amps I hear good things about, but if money is an object, then don't see anything wrong with your Hifonics amp.

Just bought the same amp you have for two 10's and know quite a few peeps that have been happy with their Bxi line.

Meh, I am not even getting into it.

Personnally it comes down to money, but both will do what you need them too.

If you have the money go with the 2200D.

add another BXI and another DP. dont go through the hassle of trying to sell your amp to get 2 more. you'll end up with about the same power. unless for some reason you dont like your Hifonics. they are good budget minded reliable power imo.
