Longest mine have rang is 6 days after a kickass concert.

If you are much past that you're going to be in serious trouble. What causes that ringing is the cilia (tiny hairs) in your ear canal are either lying flat down (like blown over) or have broken off and your nerveous system is trying to make sense of it. I'd personally think of going to a Dr.... they might have ways to help relieve you.

Thanks, It hasn't been that long (three days), but holy smokes it's scary.

this man knows his anatomy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

perchance know what kind of music caused this? if it was mid range, you're going to have trouble understanding people.

You're wrong, thats a myth. If you listen to something really loud or something loud for a long period of time then you will lose your higher frequencies temporarily. You don't lose the frequency you were listening to (because in your Cochlea the first section is for high frequencies, the cilia in this section take most of the pressure). You might just have Tinnitus (a ringing in the ears) which everyone gets, some people get it worse and worse and it is a sign of noise induced hearing loss. However, everyone does get mild Tinnitus (like Flakko) and it is not that much of a concern. If your ears have been ringing for that long I would go see a doctor.
