got bu/\/\p?
i just got everything installed two days ago, except i was only running 1 hd312. so the goliath was running at 2 ohms, and just like bamaboy, i was driving with it not even cranked and it just cut out and magic smoke appeared... i think this has to be a manufacturers defect... i just cant beleive it happened on a bnib amp after only 1.5 days of use.... im pretty pissed... luckily its covered under warrenty.. but ill still have to prolly wait another month now... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/pissed.gif.9f665f96bc89e98e708dabd4580bb591.gif :pissed:

mine is gone

some people dont have any trouble with them, i wish hifonics would so something about this, instead of having people that paid their hard earned money for an POS amp, they use stuck to either waiting on the amp or taking a hit like me

paid 800 for it a while back, it blew the 1st tim ei hooked it up, said okay, fedex could of damaged it, paid 200 to fix it, took me 3 months to get it back, and it did work good while it worked, so i can give it that, now it blows again and i sold it for 300$...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

my herc toasted itself for the second time about 2 weeks ago. not because of me either (i dont think). was running it with plenty of power for it and less than its RMS. first time was something on the RCA jack side of the amp, now this time it smoked from the power/ground/speaker side //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

now that i think about this, i should call the warranty place tomorrow. i requested either a replacement or a refund, and the dealer i bought it from send it in with that request hehe, lets see what htey have to say about that

I bough Bama's Goliath so I understand his frustration but seriously I would like to know how you guys had your gains set and how were the electricle in your ride? See all your amp has to do is see a clipped signal for a short period of time to severly weaken the power supple.

exact same thing for me the second time around. the amp smoked when i first wired it it when i got it BNIB (and it was wired correctly, yes) and did not work, along with a faulty LED logo.

bout two and a half months later, i got the amp back. Mine ran for about 2 weeks, and i was driving home from a football game with the music perdy low, low enough to talk over, and the subs just stopped playing and the amp started smoking.

130amp alternator, big 3 done in 1/0, kinetik 2400 battery, and set for about 1600RMS wired at 1 ohm. didnt get dimming really at all. that sound like enough electrical upgrade for that much wattage?
