PA vs. Hifonics

whats a better amp? a PA A3000DB or bxi2006d.......the PA would be ran at 4ohm and the hifonics i think i can get away with running it at 1ohm..

either amp would be used for my 12" T3 TSS.

Also i was wondering which amp would put less strain on my electrical & how bad.

The 3000 is gonna run you $290 shipped and give you around 2,000 watts or so. The BXI will run you around $300-350 and give you around 1,600-1,800 watts. You do the math. I ran a BX for a couple years, never let me down, great amp. My buddy runs a 3000, never let him down, great amp. And there you have it.

both i would be getting for around the same price....since im getting either or in a trade.

i just really need to know, how bad each amp will affect my electrical. since its all stock. plan to upgrade to 2 gauge or 0/1 & do the big 3 [ if im able to ]

used to run one during the big hifonics boner. hifonics although overrated was still a good amp imo. friend has been running a pa 3000 for a couple years on his 15" xxx . and that ***** hits hard. dont know if it puts out quite it rating (ive heard both) so i cant tell you, but as far as quality, that pa has never let my friend down either. both are good, just go with the one that fits the best for your application.

It seems more like the buy with the bxi2006d is interested in trading, other than the guy with the a3000db

hes got a 98 explorer with the higher output stock alternator (i think it came with a 105 or maybe something a little higher). electrical is all stock, no big three, nothing, dims a decent ammount full tilt, but still powers the xxx nicely. shit gets louder than my mag 15" off an ia 20.1. maybe cause the 20.1 draws an assload of current, but still, its louder. later

although i should mention that i sold my hifonics to someone. working when it got outta my car...shipped it. DOA when it got there. dont know if it was the the shipping company, or maybe it was the amp. makes me want to suggest the PA to you even more. i should mention the pa has been on my friends xxx for over 2 years. not a single problem except for the fact that the set screws stripped from overtightening...which has nothing to do with the amp. later

Yes, I heard that from a couple different people.

But you can say that are pretty good BUDGET amps
