another gain setting question.

hey guys, just wanna make sure i got this right. After i set my gains for my two amps, i have too much sound coming from my front stage and almost no sound coming from my sub. everything on My HU is turn off(eq,bass boost etc...) also bass boost turned off on my amps. So according to the tutorial, that means that i have to lower the gains on my front stage amp?

Yes.

If you want to play it safe on your setup and still be overly bassy, set all your gains properly, the drop the level of the front amp until the bass is loud enough to match.

EDIT:

thanks, i don't have rear fills, so are you saying to leave the gains as they are and just fade to the rear? is that a good/best solution? i appreciate the help btw.

Well, "best" in this hobby is so relative it's not funny. Both ways will work the same, but if you're really squeer-ish, dropping the gains would make for less introduced distortion than fading. Not that you'd ever hear the difference in your life, but it's there. =)
